friend,
I’ve always believed public service is a sacred responsibility – and no one embodies that more than our veterans.
Today, on Veterans Day, I’m thinking of the hundreds of thousands of Michiganders who answered the call to serve – not for personal glory, but out of love of country and for each other.
In Congress, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside veterans to deliver results that honor that service. I’ve fought to expand job training for veterans transitioning to civilian life, secure critical funding for the VA, and ensure access to the health care – including mental health support – that every veteran deserves.
But right now, our country is failing too many of them.
Because of the ongoing government shutdown and chaos from Trump and his allies, VA staff are working without pay, critical benefits are delayed, and veterans are facing uncertainty they should never have to endure.
What’s worse: Trump’s budget cuts are threatening the very programs veterans rely on – from health care to housing to job assistance.
We owe our veterans so much more.
That’s part of why I’m running for the U.S. Senate: to fight for those who’ve served, to defend their benefits from political games, and to make sure this country always shows up for everyone who puts on the uniform.
But I can’t do it alone. We’ve got a lot of work to do – and I need your help to get there.
If you believe veterans deserve leaders who will fight for them – and never forget their sacrifices – will you chip in $5 to help me win this race and bring that fight to the U.S. Senate?

With gratitude,
Haley
