Today, we honor our Veterans — the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform and sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms.

But honoring them means more than just words or ceremonies. It means action. It means fighting every single day to ensure that those who served this country never feel forgotten or left behind.

Too many of our Veterans still struggle to access the care, resources, and opportunities they’ve earned. That’s unacceptable — and it’s why I’m committed to strengthening the programs that support them and their families here in New Mexico and across our nation.

We owe our Veterans not just our gratitude, but our resolve — to build a country worthy of their service and sacrifice.

To all who have served: thank you.

And to everyone reading this, I hope you’ll join me in continuing the fight to ensure our Veterans receive the dignity, care, and respect they deserve.
