Last week, New Yorkers changed New York to build the city they deserve by electing Zohran Mamdani to be their next mayor.

Now, they can change Washington to build the Congress they deserve by unseating the Andrew Cuomo’s of Congress.

It’s no secret that New York City is overrun with corporate Democrats in the U.S. House who opposed Zohran and even endorsed Cuomo — an entitled member of a political family dynasty accused of sexual misconduct and covering up COVID nursing home deaths, who was endorsed by Donald Trump — over Zohran. They take millions from corporate Super PACs and AIPAC, and have even voted in support of Trump’s corrupt, authoritarian agenda.

So today, Justice Democrats is officially launching our “Primary NYC’s Corporate Democrats Fund” to fuel Democratic primary challenges against billionaires’ favorite members of Congress.

Every member of Congress in NYC who is bankrolled by corporate PACs is a possible target. But their corporate war chests mean we need to build as many resources as possible if we’re going to have a shot at unseating them in 2026 and beyond.

There are plenty of progressive, working-class champions out there stepping up to run for Congress to give their communities the representation they deserve.

In order for them to win, they need everyday people across the country to believe in them and show their support — even when it doesn’t feel possible.

Let’s build on Zohran’s victory in New York by sending all of Cuomo’s friends in Washington to early retirement, too. Pitch in whatever you can afford: every dollar goes to defeating a corporate stooge in Congress.
