Dear John,
Today, we pause to honor every man and woman who has worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. Your service has safeguarded our freedom and upheld the principles this nation was built upon — faith, family, and liberty.
As Scripture reminds us, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13). Veterans embody that love through their sacrifice and devotion to something greater than themselves.
Your courage in the face of danger and your willingness to defend the innocent reflect the very heart of Christ, who calls us to stand for truth and righteousness. Because of your faithfulness, generations have lived free to worship God, raise families, and pursue their calling without fear of tyranny.
To all our veterans — we are deeply grateful. May God bless you, your families, and this great nation you have served so faithfully.
As we honor your sacrifice, we also renew our commitment to pray for our nation, its leaders, and those who continue to defend freedom at home and abroad. May America always remain one nation under God.
