On this Veterans Day, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every Pennsylvanian and every American, who has worn our nation’s uniform. Your courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty have safeguarded our freedoms and strengthened our democracy.
I am especially thinking of my big brother Paul today and am grateful for his honorable service to our nation.

But gratitude alone is not enough. Our promise to veterans must be measured in action.
Here at the state level, we must reaffirm our commitment to: - Making sure every veteran can access timely, high-quality health care, including mental and behavioral health support.
-
Ending veteran homelessness and expanding safe, affordable housing.
- Opening more doors to education, job training, and good-paying careers as veterans transition to civilian life.

Today, we remain committed to these priorities and grateful for your sacrifices. So, to all who have served: thank you. We see you. We honor you. Your service to us demands our service to you. And we will keep working, every day, to live up to the debt we owe.
With Blessings,
Rep. Joanna E. McClinton
Speaker of the Pennsylvania House
