Last night, the Senate voted to move forward on a continuing resolution.

But this so-called “deal” doesn’t provide any protection for Americans’ access to affordable healthcare. It makes no effort to assist the 370,000 Arizonans who will have to pay more for their healthcare coverage. Working families can’t afford that.

Donald Trump and House Republicans are still refusing to come to the table and negotiate on a real solution that would protect Americans’ healthcare access.

And now, after stalling any negotiations and giving House Republicans almost two months of vacation, Speaker Mike Johnson is directing Republicans to come back to Congress “right now” to vote on this bogus deal.

I’m heading to DC, where I’ll be voting NO on the continuing resolution.
