Friend —

The world is in flux like never before. From Russia's looming victory over NATO in Ukraine, to Trump's return to a law-of-the-jungle approach against Venezuela, to a shaky "ceasefire" of a genocide against Palestinians that has ripped apart the world's moral conscience—it's clear that this is not a "normal" time period.

But perhaps the most consistent factor amidst this turmoil is the fact that our global elites can't seem to get anything to go their way. Their "rules" are not working the same way they used to.

This is the context in which to see the recent victory in New York by Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Whatever Mamdani's personal beliefs may be, these matter far less than the fact that he refused to buckle to the Zionist lobby, which had attempted to forbid opposition to genocide. Yet, instead of the normal "rules" by which they intimidate and silence their opposition into submission, this had the opposite effect and catapulted the first Muslim to victory in New York's mayoral race.

Like the election of Donald Trump, this is a resounding rebuke to the entrenched control over both political parties in the United States. And even more importantly, it is proof that we are living in a moment of great and profound change.

See below for your intellectual ammunition for organizing around solutions to today's crisis. And make sure to watch this weekend's Paris conference <[link removed]>!

<[link removed]>In this international webcast from July 2008, titled "One Year Later—But Still Not Too Late for You," LaRouche details the steps by which the United States might be saved from the inevitable collapse of the doomed trans-Atlantic financial system. A key part of this would be to return America to the Westphalian idea of a commitment to the Common Aims of Mankind--to embrace the "benefit of the other."

Today, this solution would place the United States into a productive alliance with the BRICS nations and the Global South in finally ridding the planet of empire and colonial-type looting in favor of the in-depth development of infrastructure, energy, and joint scientific discovery.

Last week, Russia's First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Dmitry Polyanskiy, was interviewed by EIR editor-in-chief Helga Zepp-LaRouche.

Polyanskiy discussed the treacherous levels of Russian-European relations and what must be done to get them back on track.

<[link removed]>Friday Symposium

Today, most Americans have no idea of what George Washington actually achieved. Yet Washington helped to create this world historic institution under adverse conditions and with no precedent to guide him.

This week, Diane was joined by The LaRouche Organization history team leaders Bob Wesser and Christopher Sare to present the second part of Episode 1 on the Washington Presidency. Part I of Episode 1 is available here <[link removed]>.

<[link removed]>Weekly Battle Report

In this week's report, we have a report-back from Diane Sare on last weekend’s Townhall Meeting of the Jose Vega for Congress (NY-15) campaign "The Bronx is Gaza West, Rebuilding Starts Here--and There." We also have Diane Sare's response to the election of Mayor-elect Mamdani in New York.

You'll also hear reports from our organizing around the country and around the world, including a special briefing on getting 'letters to the editor' published.

<[link removed]>Special Harley Schlanger Update

With most eyes fixated on actions within the diplomatic sphere, there are new warnings of an approaching crash of the "everything bubble." Signs point to an accumulation of problems similar to those that led to bubbles popping in 2008 (the "mortgage securities" bubble) and the need for massive Fed intervention in 2021 (the RePo crisis), only on a much larger scale. Remember the old saying: When economic crises hit, the bankers opt for war.
