John,
Michigan has an open U.S. Senate race. This isn’t just another election, it’s a fight for the future of our democracy.
Right now, corporate PACs and pro genocide groups like AIPAC are spending obscene amounts of money to buy another seat in Washington, DC. They want our next senator to be someone who will protect their profits, not our people.
But we have a chance to send someone different. Someone who has never taken money from corporations and pro genocide groups, and never will.
That someone is my friend, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed.
Abdul has spent his career proving that government can actually work for the people it serves.
When Detroit’s health department was gutted, Abdul rebuilt it.
When working families couldn’t afford care, Abdul created programs that got kids free glasses and erased hundreds of millions in medical debt.
And today, Abdul is proud to be the only candidate in the Michigan Senate race fighting for Medicare for All.
This is the kind of leadership we deserve — courageous, compassionate, and unbought — and that’s why I’m proud to endorse Abdul’s campaign for U.S. Senate.
This race will come down to whether working people can overcome corporate money. I believe we can, but it starts with all of us pitching in. Will you join me in supporting Abdul by splitting a $10 donation between our campaigns today?

Abdul is running against one of the nation’s top recipients of AIPAC funds. He is running to protect human rights in our country and around the world, and he’s running to make our government work for people — not corporations. Let’s show him he’s not in that fight alone.
Thank you,
Rashida
