I’ve been in the game a long time, so I’ve got a sense which races are
going to be close and which candidates are worth getting behind.

I’m also very familiar with the importance of Iowa, which is why I know
that Rob Sand has what it takes to win the governor’s race, for a number
of reasons:

It’s already close. Like, really close. In fact, Sabato’s Crystal Ball
recently moved it from “Likely R” to “Lean R.”

The partisan insiders who’ve been at the wheel for years are
historically unpopular. Before announcing she’s not running for
re-election, Kim Reynolds was among the least popular governors in the
country.

Rob Sand is a uniquely perfect candidate for this race, and his campaign
gives Democrats a shot to win a race that would otherwise be out of
reach.

We’d be foolish to sleep on Iowa, and we’ve got an opportunity to make

agree with us, and forging connections based on Iowa and the needs of the
community.
