The bipartisan ROAD to Housing Act, passed by the Senate in October, is major action on housing! It's a comprehensive housing bill that shifts many federal incentives for state and local housing policy. We want to get this bill passed URGENTLY through the National Defense Authorization Act, one of the rare ways big policy actually moves through Congress these days.

1: CALL YOUR CONGRESSPERSON!Use the switchboard at (202) 224-3121 to ask your Congressperson to call leadership and include the Road to Housing Act in the National Defense Authorization Act. The ROAD passed in the Senate National Defense Authorization Act. Please support the bill being included in the final conferenced NDAA, and pass it into law.
2: CALL FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE MEMBERS!Find out if one of your state’s members of Congress is on the Financial Services Committee here. If so, use the switchboard at (202) 224-3121 to ask that the Road to Housing Act be included in the final conferenced National Defense Authorization Act and passed into law. This is particularly important if you live in a state represented by Leadership on the Committee (Arkansas or California)
3: CALL MEMBERS OF LEADERSHIP!Are you in a state with a member in the House Leadership?
- Louisiana: House Speaker Johnson and Majority Leader Scalise
- Minnesota: Majority Whip Emmer
- New York: Minority Leader Jeffries
- Massachusetts: Minority Whip Clark
