I know what it’s like.
I know what it’s like to have your family struggle to put food on the table. To be the kid with the different color lunch ticket, or to eat the sandwich of shame in the cafeteria because there’s no more money in your meal account. To have your family worry about whether they’ll go into medical debt to afford your hospital stay. To feel like the bottom could fall out at any moment.
The cruelty of Republicans in this moment is shameful.
They don’t care about getting their constituents fed. They don’t care if folks lose their healthcare.
But I care. I want folks to thrive and that’s exactly what I'll fight for as the next Senator from Minnesota.
