About the job
As an HVAC Technician, you will plan, perform, and oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of HVAC systems and components serving DES-owned facilities in Thurston County. You will install, maintain, diagnose, and repair steam heating systems, boilers, air handlers, variable air volume units, and related mechanical equipment, as well as commercial refrigeration and chilled water systems. This position also involves inspecting and maintaining heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and sewer systems, and ensuring optimal performance of automated building monitoring and control systems. You will troubleshoot and calibrate electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems, interpret blueprints, and work closely with the building automation team to ensure efficient and reliable building operations.
