Howdy,

It’s International Stout Day, and I couldn’t miss my opportunity to tell you a little bit more about something near and dear to my heart: Colorado beer. Can I tell you a quick story?

Many of you now know me as one of Colorado’s U.S. Senators, some of you know me as your former governor, and some of you might even remember me as Denver’s mayor – but before I ever ran for public office, we opened Colorado’s first brewpub in downtown Denver: Wynkoop Brewing Company.

At Wynkoop, we were known for our unique beers like the Sagebrush Stout, (“with just the faintest hint of a prairie bouquet”), or Timberline Pale Ale, (“where the work of man leaves off and that of God begins”). We offered each for just $2.25 per pint.

But Wynkoop was more than just a business for me. It was a place where people from all backgrounds and opinions could come together and discuss issues facing our community. We often seemed to get deeper into an issue over a pint of fresh Colorado beer.

That’s the very same reason I ran for office - to find consensus and make things happen. And in the Senate, I’ve been focused on exactly that, so we could deliver real, impactful change for all Americans.

We have so much more work to do to protect our democracy, preserve our public lands, and save our country from the serious threats we’re facing. So today, I’m asking you to contribute $5 to our cause – the tab of two Wynkoop beers back in the day – to help me win reelection and keep up the good fight in the Senate.

A note from John Hickenlooper:

I’m fighting every day to deliver for Colorado — to protect our public lands, strengthen our economy, and stand up to MAGA extremists who want to roll back our progress.

We can’t afford to let them win. We don't take a dime of corporate PAC money, so your grassroots support keeps this campaign strong and independent.
