Zach Huntington is an experienced environmental researcher and analyst with a background in communicating the impact of plastic pollution on people and the planet. His work focuses on using data and graphical analysis to identify environmentally and economically sustainable strategies to address waste-related challenges.

Zach will share his newest research about how the petrochemical and consumer goods industries have used their resources to stop the implementation of proven plastic pollution reduction policies in the Commonwealth. This research examines the connection between global corporations, corporate lobbying efforts, taxpayer funded grants, the proliferation of plastic in Virginia, and how we can use the information to create lasting change.
