House Values Action Team Commends President Trump’s Leadership and Calls for End of Christian Persecution in Nigeria | Congressman Robert Aderholt

I am thankful to see President Trump designate Nigeria a country of particular concern due to its violations of religious liberty. The Biden Administration removed Nigeria from the list of countries of particular concern, even though there were reports of thousands of Nigerian Christians killed for their faith. As a nation committed to the principles of religious liberty, the United States must fight against this persecution.

Government Shutdown Update

As we enter the sixth full week of the government shutdown driven by Senate Democrats, I want to remind everyone that House Republicans have acted responsibly to keep the government open. Unfortunately, Senator Schumer is still choosing to hold government funding hostage.

The Democratic Party believes that you should keep less of your hard-earned money and that Washington should decide how your money should be spent. Instead of working for the American people, they are working to save Chuck Schumer from a Democratic primary opponent in the next election cycle.

Honoring our Veterans

It was my honor to present a flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol to Luther Berry. Luther served in Korea and recently celebrated his 95th birthday. Thank you, Luther, for your service to our nation.
