==============================
Friend, hospitals across Jamaica and the Caribbean are struggling to keep up in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.
With more than 75 people killed and 44,000 more displaced, the storm's destruction has left health systems hanging by a thread. Hospital shelves are empty, services are disrupted, and exhausted health care staff have gone days without rest.
Your immediate support has the power to fuel Project HOPE's response to deliver desperately needed resources, and provide lifesaving care worldwide, wherever the need is greatest.

It's been just days since Hurricane Melissa made landfall in the Caribbean, and Project HOPE's emergency response team is already on the ground in Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic making an impact.
When visiting Jamaica's Falmouth Hospital, our team discovered that newborn twins were delivered as the facility faced power outages and had completely run out of diapers. They then quickly delivered medical supplies, infant care items, and clean water to help patients and support the health workers caring for them around the clock. This is only possible with support from compassionate people like you, Friend. Please make a generous gift to Project HOPE today that can save lives and deliver HOPE where it's needed most.

Our teams on the ground are preparing local health care workers to sustain services for the long haul. With your help, we're working to:
* Equip hospitals and clinics with urgently needed medical supplies, tools, and pharmaceuticals.
* Provide mental health and resiliency training for frontline responders and hospital staff.
* Prepare mobile and static health clinics in Jamaica to expand access to care in St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, St. James, and Trelawney parishes.
==============================
These efforts are critical - not only to meet immediate needs - but also to strengthen Jamaica's health system for the long term.
Will you help power our response, Friend? Please, donate to Project HOPE today to help ensure that no family is left behind in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa or in other places where we work like Gaza and Ukraine - wherever the need is greatest.
