Today is Election Day, and with elections happening both here in Washington and in more states across the country, it’s our first real chance to fight back against Donald Trump and his MAGA allies at the polls.
In total, there are more than 10,000 races on the ballot today: governors, statehouses, mayors, school boards, ballot initiatives, and other key local races.
Local elections often fly under the radar, but they shape our daily lives — and if we don’t pay attention, they’re often the offices MAGA extremists will use to roll back rights and target our communities.

I’ve proudly endorsed progressive leaders on the ballot today, both here in King County and across the country, who are fighting for working families and pushing back on authoritarianism. They include:
These leaders will fight for Medicare for All, climate action, and an economy that works for everyone. But they’re facing MAGA extremists, the billionaire class, and political machines betting that we’ll stay home and sit this election out.
Let’s prove them wrong. Vote like your future depends on it — because it does — and make sure everyone you know votes too.
