I get those stupid fundraising texts from Democrats too. And look: They wouldn’t bother me if Democratic leadership was actually doing something useful right now.

If getting a fundraising text every day meant Medicare for All, or ending the genocide in Palestine, or stopping masked police from abducting people off our streets… Honestly, I’d trade a million stupid fundraising texts from Democrats for even just one of those.

But most Democrats aren’t doing jack right now to fight back against the fascism taking over our country. They do, however, have the time to text my cell phone yet again to ask for more money.

Susan Collins is the most vulnerable Republican senator in the country. And we have an opportunity to replace her with a working-class Democrat – one who will actually fight the oligarchy and stand up to fascism.
