Dear Neighbors,
Thank you to everyone that came out last week for our “Coffee with Constituents" event. Our neighbors covered a whole host of issues, including fraud prevention and investing in the environment and education.
Shout out to Base Camp Coffee and Provisions for hosting us!

Another issue that came up with constituents, indeed an issue that’s been top of mind for many in our community this year, was the need to address gun violence.
Whether it was the assassination of Melissa and Mark Hortman and the attack on the Hoffmans, or the deadly shooting at Annunciation Catholic School, Minnesota has made headlines for all the wrong reasons this year. Inaction on gun violence is not the answer, and to continue the dialogue on the issue, my District 49 colleagues and I hope you can make it to our upcoming Community Conversation on Gun Violence Prevention.
