Today is Election Day..This election comes at a critical time. Many families across Virginia are struggling to afford housing, food, and healthcare. Federal uncertainty has disrupted the lives of workers, and ICE has upended families and communities. Over the last few months we've seen communities care for one another: creating mutual aid networks, showing up in solidarity at court houses, calling elected officials, and marching in the streets to protect democracy.
Voting is one other tool that allows us to collectively care for one another, and provides an opportunity to choose a government that will work with us, not against us.
