Across Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, early votes are being counted, turnout is building, and close races will come down to the final push. From school boards to state courts, these contests will shape what happens in every community next year, who teaches our kids, what rights are protected, and how our states are led.
Even if you’re not in one of those states, you can still make a difference tonight and tomorrow:
🗳️Action 1: Pennsylvania — Call voters TONIGHT with our Partners, Swing Blue Alliance & MAFlipPA, Mon. November 3, 6pm - 8pm EDT — Remind voters to turn over their ballot and vote YES to keep fair courts and protect personal freedoms.
🗳️Action 2: Virginia - All 100 of the House of Delegates seats are up for grabs, and this year for the first time, every race is contested. Key districts to focus on: HD-22, HD-41, HD-64, HD-65, HD-66, HD-74, HD-83, HD-97, HD-98, HD-99, & HD-100 — Remember, the candidates at the bottom of the ballot are often the closest to their communities, the real eyes and ears of their constituents.
🗳️Action 3: New Jersey — Help elect Mikie Sherrill for Governor, Mon-Tues, multiple times — Your calls, texts, or volunteer shifts can make a decisive difference in this tight race, not to mention all 80 Assembly seats are up for grabs, too.
🗳️Action 4: California — Proposition 50, multiple times available — A YES vote stops partisan gerrymandering and keeps congressional maps fair.
🗳️Action 5: Maine — Question 1 threatens absentee voting for years to come, Mon & Tues, multiple times available — Reach voters with the facts and help make sure every eligible voter can cast their ballot.
🗳️Action 6: New York State of Mind! Mon & Tues, multiple times available — Key statewide and local elections, including NYC’s mayoral race, will shape communities for years to come. Help remind voters to make a plan to vote, polls close tomorrow at 9pm ET.
We’ve got one night left to show what community, hope, and persistence look like. Let’s make it count.
It will take all of us,
Jacqueline Westman, Executive Director
