11/03/2025 Update From Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene

Political theater has taken over Washington. Self-serving politicians have now allowed this shutdown last over a month and have put their own interests over those of the American people.

Everyday Americans are hurting because of this. I believe it is our responsibility to get back to work and address the problems you elected us to fix in Congress.

Enough Is Enough

I voted YES to fund the government at the end of September, it's now up to the Senate.

Americans voted in historic numbers last election and gave Republicans the House, Senate, and Presidency.

Our party must take up the mantle and govern instead of playing these never-ending political games which harm Americans.

We must end the shutdown and get back to advancing the America First agenda millions of Americans voted for.

I fully support the Oversight Committee's referral to DOJ to investigate every aide involved in the Biden cover-up.

It was clear to every American that Joe Biden was not capable of being President.

The Oversight Committee’s investigation clearly uncovered the abuse of power taken by staffers and aides close to the President.

Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who served as the Physician to Biden pled the 5th, refusing to answer whether or not Biden was fit to serve as President.

The Department of Justice must launch an investigation into the misconduct of the Biden White House and expose the corruption that took place over the last four years.

I represent a district where families are barely getting by.

It is shameful that the government has allowed basic living expenses to become so unaffordable in this country.

Young people have lost hope for their futures and feel like the American dream of the last generation is unattainable.

Congress needs to get back to work so we can provide a better future for the youth of America!

This is what I called for from the very beginning.

I have been calling for the use of the nuclear option in the Senate since before this shutdown even began.

American voters made their voices clear, they want Republicans to fix the issues in this Country, and it's time we start governing.

I stand with President Trump on this, Republican Leadership needs to deliver on the promises made to Americans and use the nuclear option!

I'm not going to sit back and watch weak leadership squander the opportunity we fought so hard to win!

As a United States representative, my job is to REPRESENT our district.

Politicians in Washington are putting party before country and the American people are suffering because of it.

I will never put my party, corporate interests, or foreign countries before the American people. Every day in Congress I fight for my constituents and push the America First agenda that you sent me here to get done.
