I’m not asking for anything today.

Right now, Americans are feeling the impact of Washington’s dysfunction. People are missing paychecks. Healthcare costs keep going up.

And for 40 million Americans who rely on SNAP, putting food on the table this month is in jeopardy.

This isn’t just bad policy — it’s personal. No one should have to skip a meal because politicians can’t do their jobs. People aren’t pawns. Hungry kids aren’t bargaining chips.

I’ll keep standing firm — leading with compassion, common sense, and a commitment to doing what’s right.
