On Oct. 25, Pope Leo XIV spoke to tens of thousands of people
from over 90 countries about Cardinal Nicholas of Cusa and his
“theology of Hope.” Due to the revival of Cusa's extraordinary life
and work by founder and chairman of the Schiller Institute, Helga
Zepp-LaRouche, and by her late husband, Lyndon LaRouche, generally
only people who have been following the LaRouche movement over the
years have become familiar with Cusa's ideas. Now, with the Pope's
message, mankind has a much greater opportunity to again benefit from
this father of the 15th Century Golden Renaissance.
This week's LaRouche Show features a video from Helga
Zepp-LaRouche, originally titled "Will Human History End Now in a
Tragedy, or Triumph in a New Paradigm?" It is an in-depth presentation
Zepp-LaRouche gave on the method of thinking discovered by Cusa, given
to an audience of young people from around the world in June of 2021.
Zepp-LaRouche asserts that to get out of the onrushing New Dark Age,
mankind must learn from Cusa, starting by addressing the underlying
crisis, that in the method of thinking.

In collaboration with France's Solidarité & Progrès
party, the Schiller Institute is hosting a training and
mobilization weekend from November 7 to 11, 2025. Participation is
encouraged online as well as in person.
The main event will be Saturday, Nov. 8, focused on the theme of
fighting for the true emancipation of all peoples, for peace,
solidarity, and progress for all.

Extraordinary Meeting of the International Peace Coalition
Last week's meeting featured a roundtable discussion on the
worsening strategic situation, but most importantly, an in-depth
debate on the significance of Nicholas of Cusa, recently
referenced by Pope Leo.
Cusa represents a revolutionary tendency within the Church as
well as a method of thinking that is qualitatively different from
today's dying imperial order. Everyone is encouraged to watch this
meeting and tune into the next one!

Friday Symposium
This week, Diane discussed the stupidity represented
by the newly restored Albert Pike statue at Judiciary
Square in Washington, D.C. The statue of the KKK founder
and judicial officer, Confederate General Pike, had been torn down by
vandals in June of 2020, and has now been reinstalled, indicating the
problems within our government today.
The symposium heard from Congressional candidate Jose Vega,
American historian Anton Chaitkin, and Lyndon LaRouche about why this
matters.

Interview with Pino
Arlacchi
Last week, EIR interviewed Pino Arlacchi, former UN
Under-Secretary-General and global expert on organized crime and drug
policy. Arlacchi spoke about Trump's policy around Venezuela, calling
it a blatant violation of sovereignty and international law. It’s not
about drugs; it’s about oil, regime change, and
geopolitics.
Arlacchi goes on to describe the real solutions for the drug
epidemic, starting with addressing policy failures at home and
engaging in international collaboration abroad. Only through economic
development and major infrastructure projects can we truly eliminate
drug production.
