I owe you a huge thank you. Not just for helping us hit our fundraising goal on Friday night when it looked like we were going to fall short, but for stepping up again and again over the last two months.

When I first heard about the Kansas GOP’s latest redistricting push, I wasn’t completely sure how this team would respond. It’s still so soon after last year’s painful election, and I know how easy it would be to throw our hands in the air and accept this gerrymander as an inevitability.

Trust me: I know just how much the Kansas GOP would have loved to see us give up. But we didn’t.

Instead, we’ve essentially run a complete re-election campaign in just two months — building momentum, gathering resources, and sending a clear message to Kansas GOP leadership: Gerrymander our state at your own risk.

Now, their redistricting push is stalling. They still don’t have the signatures to force a special session later this month — and Donald Trump is getting nervous. And that’s all thanks to you.

So for now, I’ll leave you with this: Thank you for stepping up. I wouldn’t be here without you, and I know that together, we can be ready for whatever’s next. Let’s keep up the good work.
