Dear John,

As we begin this season of thanks, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all that you’ve done to support NOW and the fight for women’s rights.

The past few months have been extremely challenging for our community.

We’ve watched the President and his lackies dismantle decades of hard-won rights for women and girls.

We’ve felt the brunt of radical state legislatures tightening their grip on women’s reproductive health.

We’ve witnessed the rising cultural influence of the manosphere that promotes hate and misogyny.

But despite this fierce opposition to everything we believe in, the NOW community has not backed down in the fight for a feminist future. In fact, we’ve only grown in number, made our voices louder, and stood even firmer in our convictions.

And because we’ve refused to be silenced or sidelined, our movement today is doing what our foremothers did in their time: making progress against the toughest odds.

We’re making a difference, and the financial backing of our supporters is an essential reason why. That’s why I’m hopeful that we can count on your generosity as we move forward.
The attacks on women’s rights are only going to intensify over the next year, as extremist politicians use women as pawns in the 2026 midterm elections. It is critically important that NOW remains nimble and ready to fight whenever and however needed—and we can’t do that without your support.


So, again, I thank you for standing with NOW and fighting for progress at a time when the odds are stacked against us. I look forward to our continued partnership and to all that we’ll achieve in the months ahead.
