As the Board Chair for Fair Fight Action, I want to thank you personally for powering our pro-democracy movement as a member of this team.

With every action you take, you help prevent voter suppression, you help mobilize advocates across the country, and you help counter the rise of authoritarianism in America.

And your support couldn’t come at a more critical time, with the Supreme Court potentially poised to gut a critical plank of the Voting Rights Act and unleash a wave of racially discriminatory redistricting.

We know that access to the ballot box remains unequal, and we know that too many communities have been deliberately excluded from full participation in our democracy. But we also know that together, we can remove the unjust obstacles that voters face, and we can make sure every American has an equal voice in our political system.

I’m inspired by this team’s commitment to defending democracy. Everyone strengthens the movement in different ways, and of course not everyone can make a financial contribution at this time — but if you didn’t have a chance to make a donation before Friday’s end-of-month deadline, I’d be grateful if you could chip in any amount to advance the cause of free and fair elections.
