John,
Whether it’s the loss of SNAP benefits in November or the loss of pay for federal workers, millions of working people are wondering how they’re going to feed their families this month.
If you’re experiencing food insecurity, you’re not alone. And we want to make sure you have resources to help.
Click here to visit Feeding America’s website, then enter your zip code to find a food pantry near you.
If you’re in a position to help, one of the most impactful donations you can make right now is to your local food pantry. You can also use the link above to find your local food pantry, and then make a donation directly to them on their website.
Right now, 42 million Americans are bracing for a month without SNAP nutrition benefits. And 1.4 million federal workers are going without pay. And, while emergency food programs help, they provide just one meal for every nine that SNAP provides.[1]
That’s why we’re demanding the Trump administration act immediately to release $5 billion in SNAP nutrition funds, and tap into additional resources as necessary to fully fund SNAP in November.
Together, we’re demanding an economy and public services that leave no one behind.
Thank you for all that you do,
David Kass
