We’re just a few hours out from our critical October fundraising deadline — and with that in mind, I really thought we’d see a big jump in grassroots donations.

But right now, the opposite is happening. Here’s a screenshot directly from our ActBlue page:

At a deadline as important as this, those bars should be going up — not down.

These fundraising goals are no gimmick. Every dollar we gather goes directly toward voter outreach, staff, ads, and everything else we need to win.

But here’s the thing: I don’t want you to chip in just because of an important fundraising deadline. I want you to chip in because you believe in what I’m fighting for.

I know that when you give, you’re not investing your hard-earned money in me personally. You’re investing it to make real, meaningful change. An investment in the work all of us are doing to defend our values from Trump and build a stronger, more welcoming country for our kids.

It may be my name on the ballot next year. But really, this next election is about all of us — and the work we’re willing to put in to win it.

Together, I know we can meet our goal, hold this seat, and finally bring real accountability back to Washington. If you’re with me, please, chip in whatever you can within the next few hours.
