Two years into a brutal civil war, Sudan continues to face unimaginable suffering. Women and children continue to face the brunt of the crisis, millions of families are being forced from their homes and entire communities are living in fear.

This week, news reports emerged and posts circulated on social media depicting mass killing of innocent civilians.

Every day, violence spreads and the world watches. The US – along with much of the international community – have remained on the sidelines. As an organization that focuses on Africa, we cannot sit idly by.

That is why we’re launching a petition today to tell Congress and the administration that enough is enough. We must use our power as a world leader to speak up and push for action.
