Happy Halloween from our family to yours!

This year, Hartley picked out our costumes all on his own — and let's just say, he nailed it. He's Paul Bunyan, my husband Max is a tree, and I'm Babe the Blue Ox. (Apparently, that's what happens when your kid loves Wisconsin folklore as much as Halloween candy!)

But even on a fun, spooky night like this, I can't help thinking about how much Wisconsin families juggle every day — from rising grocery prices to the impossible cost of childcare to making sure our kids have strong schools and safe communities to grow up in.

That's why I'm running for Lieutenant Governor: to make life a little easier, a little more affordable, and a lot more hopeful for families across Wisconsin.
