Thanksgiving Holiday Closures

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, many facilities will be closed or have reduced hours as follows:

Recreation Classes

Join us at the Hurst Recreation Center for a variety of creative and engaging classes! We offer different programs for all ages, so there’s something for the whole family.

Featured Classes:

• Easy Bake Fun: Stir, mix, and decorate your way to delicious creations in this hands-on baking adventure perfect for young chefs!
• Guitar Prep: Learn the basics of rhythm and melody while rocking out to your favorite tunes; no experience needed!
• Storytime Studio: Watch stories come to life through crafts and imagination in this interactive storytelling class for kids.
• Karate: Build confidence, discipline, and strength while mastering exciting martial arts moves in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Hurst Recreation Center Group Fitness Classes

Our high-energy fitness classes are designed to keep you motivated and moving, no matter your fitness level! Whether you like to dance, stretch, lift, or cycle, we’ve got a class that will challenge and inspire you.

Classes include:

• BODYPUMP
• BODYCOMBAT
• Spin
• And more!

Our certified instructors will motivate you, guide you, and challenge you every step of the way to help you crush your fitness goals!

Hurst Tennis & Pickleball Center

Serve up some fun at the Hurst Tennis & Pickleball Center! 🎾 With ten lighted outdoor courts, affordable rates, and lessons for all ages and skill levels, it’s the perfect place to play day or night. Enjoy USTA leagues, a ball machine for solo practice, and expert USPTA-certified instructors to help you improve your game.

Court fees: (90 minute court time)

• $3 Hurst Residents per person
• $5 Non-Residents per person

Christmas Tree Lighting

Save the date! The annual City of Hurst Christmas Tree Lighting is on Tuesday, December 2. Enjoy snow tubing, holiday crafts, face painting, and photos with Santa. Shop unique gifts at Santa’s Christmas Marketplace, meet costumed characters, and visit some furry friends at our petting zoo. Don’t miss the magical grand finale with our stunning Christmas tree lighting ceremony and the area’s only holiday fireworks show!
