What does that mean for 42 million SNAP participants across the country?
If the USDA makes even partial SNAP payments available, that’s a win for anyone who relies on SNAP to help put food on the table. At the same time, this solution won’t resolve the hunger crisis the U.S. is facing if the shutdown continues.
