Hi John, it’s Pam.

I wanted to share a quick note to give you a glimpse of what a typical morning for your Congressman looks like – when Congressman Harder starts out the morning as just “Dada”.

Every morning in our house is a small circus. This morning, Lillian, our 3-year-old, was mad that she couldn’t find pants that were both sparkly AND had rainbow colors. Josh talked her down from tears by finding a sparkly shirt and convinced her it was better to have the sparkles on the shirt. Meanwhile, Karina, our 1-year-old, is gleefully enjoying the independence of our new cereal dispensers, leaving a trail of Cheerios that Josh then vacuums up while also singing “ba, ba, blacksheep.” In the backdrop, I am cutting up fruits into tiny bite sized pieces for lunchboxes, while Josh is searching for two tiny matching shoes in the big shoe pile. We miraculously make it out of the door on time.

Then, he heads straight to fight for families like ours in Congress – making sure parents can find affordable childcare, fighting to lower costs, and protecting our democracy so our daughters can grow up in a country that lives up to its promise.

I see how much it weighs on him when the news is tough or when the attacks get personal. But he never gives up - because he believes in the good we can do together and in the people he’s fighting for. As a husband, as a dad, and as a leader, I couldn’t be prouder of him.

Tonight is Josh’s end-of-month deadline, and I know he’s worried about hitting his goal before we take the kids trick-or-treating. If you can, will you chip in now so Josh can keep fighting for families like ours?
