Folks, another big step forward: the Senate has once again passed my legislation to undo Trump’s idiotic tariffs on Canadian goods.

These tariffs were a bad idea right from the start — based on a phony “emergency” — and have only made things worse: raising prices, hurting small businesses, and driving down American exports to one of our closest allies.

It’s our responsibility in Congress to step in when a president abuses their authority, especially when that abuse of power hurts the economy and deepens the pain of a government shutdown he created.

Now that the Senate has twice voted to end these misguided trade wars, the House needs to act and say enough is enough.
