John:

Good Afternoon.

The House remains out of session, waiting to see whether or not the Senate will pass their Continuing Resolution (CR). The Senate has now tried to pass the House CR no fewer than 13 times. On the Senate floor, Majority Leader John Thune expressed an unusual amount of frustration with Democrat intransigence. However, while the Senate remains unable to pass a CR, they are still approving of President Trump’s nominees and judges.

As you have likely seen, Sen. Chuck Grassley and the Senate Judiciary Committee have released, as a part of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s ongoing investigation into President Biden’s weaponization of government, a treasure trove of documents related to the Biden DOJ’s so-called “Arctic Frost” investigation, led by the notorious Special Counsel, Jack Smith.

These documents show the extent to which Biden’s FBI and DOJ were willing to go to try and take down the political right under the guise of “election interference” on January 6, 2021. Plainly stated, Jack Smith created an “enemies list”. Additionally, the sprawling nature of this “investigation” even went after organizations that were not established during the period of time. As Vice President of Programs for CPI, Rachel Bovard, stated in response to a liberal reporter saying that Sen. Grassley had yet to produce any evidence of wrongdoing, “America First Legal and Center for Renewing America, both of whom had their bank records secretly subpoenaed as part of Arctic Frost, DIDN’T EVEN EXIST on JANUARY 6, 2021.”

The documents reveal the chilling effort to broadly gather private, sensitive information on dozens of Republican Members of Congress (the FBI even tapped the office landline of Sen. Ted Cruz) and at least 430 Republican individuals and entities, including CPI. In fact, one document mentions CPI President, Ed Corrigan, by name. As famed conservative commentator Mollie Hemingway wrote on X, “This is so insane and so divorced from reality that it tells us the situation at the FBI was a million times worse than even those who think it’s unsalvageable believed. Ed Corrigan is one of the most beloved members of the conservative movement across every faction on the right.”

As Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, said on Megyn Kelly’s AM Update, Arctic Frost was a “wide-ranging, massive investigation basically against the entire national Republican Party infrastructure launched under the Joe Biden administration, namely under the authority of Special Counsel Jack Smith.” He followed that by saying, while it “purported to be investigating January 6 and election interference, that was all really a pretext to create legal reasons to destroy the Biden administration’s entire political opposition in the country.”

In closing, Sean said that this weaponization of the government “..is bigger than Watergate in the same way that the Pacific Ocean is bigger than your bathtub.”

ICYMI…

Sincerely,
