This is it. We are at our end-of-month deadline, and between Prop. 50 and our newly declared opponent Richard Pan, the stakes could not be higher. Below are my candid thoughts on everything going on. Next Tuesday is Election Day for the Prop. 50 Redistricting Sham. It’s no coincidence that Dr. Pan, who was the main proponent of Newsom’s COVID reign – even introducing legislation to require every K-12 student to get the COVID vaccine – has already announced he’s running against me.

It’s classic Newsom: rig the game and then put in his own extreme player. But here’s the thing: we can make sure this corrupt scheme fails – just like we handed Newsom an embarrassing loss last year when his own staff member fell 46,000 votes short of defeating us.

Of course, between now and Tuesday we must do everything possible to get out the vote and defeat Prop. 50. But regardless of the outcome, I am confident we can outmaneuver Newsom, win reelection, and make our movement for sanity in California all-the-stronger.

It’s no secret why Newsom is going to such great lengths to target us – why he is literally tearing up our state’s entire congressional map in hopes of giving him a better chance to oust me from office. It’s because we have done more than just criticize him, as many other elected officials do.

Criticism, while unwelcome by Newsom, can be tolerated. What he absolutely can’t tolerate is actions that impede his political goals. And it is precisely those efficacious actions – overturning his gas car ban, cutting off his high-speed rail funding, ending his free healthcare for illegal immigrants, making crime illegal again, removing homeless encampments, and so much more – that Newsom is desperate to bring to a halt.

In short, Newsom is obsessed with stopping us because we are stopping him. With your help, we will keep stopping him – including stopping his delusional presidential ambition in its tracks.

Over the last few years of our journey together, we have experienced so many ups and downs. We have had countless obstacles thrown in our path. We have been counted out time and again. And yet we’ve kept fighting – and winning. We’ve overcome all odds in a state utterly controlled by a corrupt, entrenched, supermajority political class.

After years without a single win for sanity in California, we have put together quite a streak: win, after win, after win. We have built a coalition for sanity that is on the rise. We are starting to see a real difference in the quality of life in communities across California.
