Help keep this free, digital lifeline growing. No images? Click here Hi John, When we launched imi (i-me), we hoped it would be a lifeline. A place where LGBTQ+ youth could explore their identity, build confidence, and feel less alone. We’re proud to share that imi has just reached over 200,000 users thanks to supporters like you! Developed in partnership with Hopelab and CenterLink, imi is a free, digital, and research-backed webapp, proven to help LGBTQ+ youth strengthen their coping skills and emotional well-being. As you and I know, access to affirming mental health resources isn’t easy to find. It’s a challenge we hear over and over again from LGBTQ+ youth around the world. One of our Youth Voices, Fabi, shared with NBC News last year that after coming out in middle school, she struggled to find care in her Florida hometown. The only LGBTQ-specific provider was out of reach financially. It wasn’t until the pandemic hit that her family was able to find telehealth support abroad. Fabi’s story is quite common. And that’s exactly why tools like imi matter. We know digital tools can’t replace clinical care. But they can stand in the gap that bridges young people from isolation to support, especially when other options aren’t available. When you support It Gets Better, you’re helping us keep imi free, accessible, and growing. And that support matters. Explore imi at imi.guide. Share it. Use it. And if you’re able, donate today to help us reach the next 200,000 young people.
