Reminder: the final direct pay tax credit townhall will take place on Monday, November 3 at 9:00 a.m. CT; you can sign up for that session via through this link. This session is organized by Deloitte as part of contract with the State of MN to provide tax-exempt entities with guidance and assistance in the Direct Pay project planning and IRS filing process. Unlike previous webinars, this session will be more of a Q&A rather than an overview. Eligible Minnesota entities are also able to register with Deloitte for one-on-one consultations at no cost!

Reminder: November 15 Deadline for Fiscal Years Ending on June 30

If your tax-exempt organization’s fiscal year (FY) ends on June 30^th, the submission deadline for filing a return for direct pay-eligible projects completed between July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025 is November 15, 2025.  That is also the deadline to request a 6-month extension to May 15^th.

• Minnesota Climate and Innovation Finance Authority (MnCIFA)(a.k.a. Minnesota’s “green bank”) has more than $60 million available for low interest bridge loans to provide coverage for eligible projects until a direct pay reimbursement is received
