ADL and the law firm Gibson Dunn are launching this unprecedented, coordinated network to provide victims of antisemitic incidents with access to a free national rapid-response system with 40+ of the nation’s leading law firms, consisting of more than 40,000 attorneys.
ADL lawyers have a proven track record of working with world class law firms to litigate high profile cases and effect real, measurable change. We protect the legal rights of Jewish people, whether in K-12 schools, college campuses, private businesses, public companies, political environments and any other spaces. We represent victims of the October 7th terrorist attack in their ongoing fight for justice. When antisemites and extremists violate the law, ADL will hold them accountable in court.
Through high-impact cases that result in decisive victories or equitable settlements, ADL demonstrates the value of legal action as a powerful vector in defeating and dismantling antisemitism.

AI-Created Videos and Antisemitism: In a matter of seconds, anyone can now use popular AI video generation tools to create antisemitic and extremist content despite existing safeguards that supposedly prohibit them. In ADL’s test of four AI video generators, the tools produced videos in response to antisemitic, extremist or otherwise hateful text prompts at least 40% of the time. For example, all four tools agreed to generate videos of a visibly Jewish man operating a “weather control” machine—alluding to the antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews control the weather.

Microsoft Decision Emboldens BDS: In an op-ed, Ari Hoffnung (managing director of ADL affiliate JLens) takes Microsoft to task for its recent decision to disable its cloud and AI services for a unit of Israel’s military. This appears to be the first time the company has unilaterally suspended services to a government under its own policies. As Hoffnung points out: “A company with Microsoft’s global influence does not act in a vacuum. By pulling the plug on Israel to appease activists, Microsoft has shot itself in the foot—emboldening further demands and undermining the trust that sustains its business, a precedent that will haunt the company for years to come.”

VIDEO: No Place for Hate Kickoff Event: In a powerful start to the year for ADL No Place for Hate (NPFH) schools, students and educators were inspired by Dana Kramaroff, the author of the "Do More Club" and a teacher at a long-time NPFH school. She read aloud from her book, which is a story about how an antisemitic incident turned into an opportunity for growth, allyship and understanding at a school. We urge you to

MAKING PROGRESS WITH ADL
Cooking Up a Win Against Antisemitism in Chicago: In an extraordinary evening filled with powerful stories, incredible food and a shared commitment to building a more just and inclusive community, the ADL Midwest region hosted Chefs Against Hate earlier this month. Twenty of Chicago’s leading chefs brought their creativity — and their voices against hate — to the table. The event raised nearly $1 million to fuel ADL’s mission at a time when our work against antisemitism is more urgent than ever, while bringing together so many allies and so much delicious food.

New AI tools can create hateful antisemitic videos in seconds, and the safety features meant to stop this are failing. The good news? We have the power to demand change! Tech companies like Google, OpenAI and Hedra AI have the capability to prevent their tools from being weaponized to spread antisemitism.

Tucker Carlson’s recent interview with Nick Fuentes is appalling. This comes as no surprise given Fuentes’ and Carlson’s long history of peddling antisemitic conspiracies and lies. In just this single interview, Fuentes managed to invoke age-old tropes about Jewish power and control, Jews controlling the media, and dangerous charges of dual loyalty. A one-stop shop for antisemitic conspiracies... Learn why these are harmful at

Our statement on the foiled attack on Alabama synagogues: "We commend the swift and coordinated action of the FBI, Clarke County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies in preventing what could have been a horrific act of antisemitic violence targeting synagogues across Alabama and neighboring states. The discovery of credible threats and weapons connected to a plot against multiple synagogues is a chilling reminder of the persistent threat of antisemitic extremism. No one should ever fear for their safety while gathering in prayer or community. Our ADL Center on Extremism is looking into this incident and will provide additional details if and when they become available.”

7 years after the deadliest antisemitic attack in US history, the memory of the 11 Tree of Life victims continue to inspire the work we at @ADL do every day. Today, my thoughts are with the families of the 11 lives so cruelly taken that Shabbat morning and the survivors, who continue to exemplify resilience in service to one's community.
May the memories of...
