Chuck Schumer

Friend,

The government’s been shut down for nearly a month. Millions of Americans are days away from losing food assistance, and facing a full-blown health care crisis.

Open enrollment starts this weekend, and premiums are set to skyrocket. Families could pay as much as $20,000 more a year just to keep their coverage. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is freezing SNAP benefits, cutting off critical aid to the states.

While Americans brace for higher costs and empty cupboards, Donald Trump is out of the country — and refusing to negotiate with Democrats.

Before our end-of-month deadline on Friday, chip in to help elect a Senate majority that will actually fight for working families.

I have been calling on Republican leaders to sit down with us and negotiate since the summer. But Senate Republicans have refused, Speaker Mike Johnson completely shut down the House, and Trump is more focused on building a new ballroom than helping American families.

If we want accountability, if we want a government that feeds, heals, and protects its people, we have to take back the Senate.

Chip in before Friday’s deadline to stop D.C. Republicans’ cynical political games and elect leaders who put American families first.

Thanks,

Chuck Schumer
