Tell Trump’s EPA to keep tracking greenhouse gases

At the request of oil and gas CEOs, Trump’s EPA is seeking to repeal the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP), which requires climate polluters to report how much they’re polluting. This move would let polluters off the hook, making it impossible to hold them accountable, design effective climate policy, or track progress toward cleaner energy.

The EPA is accepting public comments on this disastrous proposal for the next week — we need you to make your voice heard and tell them to keep the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program intact. Take action today >>

Friend — Trump’s EPA is proposing yet another major polluter giveaway at the expense of people and the planet.

This time, they’re planning to end the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP), which is essential both for tracking how much climate pollution companies emit and designing effective policies to reduce it. Without this program, scientists, health experts, and communities nationwide will be prevented from holding Big Polluters accountable for their contributions to climate change and harmful health impacts.

Trump’s Polluters First agenda is making communities sicker, climate disasters worse, and solutions more expensive. Please submit your comment today — tell the Trump administration not to ban climate pollution tracking >>

The Trump EPA’s proposal would remove nearly all pollution reporting obligations for oil and gas companies. Our communities can’t afford to be kept in the dark as Big Polluters continue to spew climate- and health-harming pollution into our air.

What’s more, responsible companies — and their workers — who are actually working to reduce emissions won’t be able to benefit from growing consumer demand for products with lower carbon footprints. Without publicly available information about companies’ emissions, consumers won’t be able to exercise their right to choose more responsible purchases.

Thank you for taking action, Friend.
