We talk a lot about national politics, but today it’s the local races that will shape what happens next year, from ballot measures to school boards and city councils determining who leads our communities.

These local races often come down to just a few votes. Whether you live in Texas, Georgia, Ohio, or anywhere else — you can make a difference by helping neighbors show up and make their voices heard.

Here are three ways to take action today:

🗳 ACTION 1: Help GOTV in Support of Public Schools, Thursday, Oct 30, 6pm-8pm CDT — Join local volunteers in Texas to share voting info and remind Texans early voting is still open! A simple repost, story share, or voice message can help reach hundreds of voters who may not have a plan yet.

🗳 ACTION 2: Local School Board Elections Matter, Thursday, Oct 30, 7pm - 8pm EDT — Join Honesty for Ohio Education and help reach voters across the state to make their voting plans for the weekend while polls are open. Training is provided and sometimes all it takes is a friendly text reminder to help someone cast their vote. 

🗳 ACTION 3: Move Those Fingers to Mobilize the Vote, Thursday, Oct 30, 6pm - 8pm EDT — Join WFP (Working Families Party) to reach voters in Georgia and remind them that local elections are underway. With their vote, they can help shape the future of their community.
