John, it doesn’t seem like the abortion industry could value human life any less than it already does, but with each passing day, it proves more and more how destructive the pro-death mentality really is.

The latest data from Guttmacher show that the abortion pill accounts for the majority of abortions that take place in this country (upwards of 60%).

Under previous presidential administrations, we’ve seen essentially every safety measure stripped away, leaving us with a truly dystopian reality.

Pills designed to kill preborn babies — and which are also leading to serious, life-threatening complications for more than 10% of women who take them — are being shipped through the mail (in some cases anonymously) or dispensed at local pharmacies.

Women are frequently receiving these pills without a single in-person interaction.

This means no ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy (which can be deadly if not addressed); no blood test to prevent future pregnancy complications; little, if any, informed consent about the risks associated with abortion pills; and no follow-up care.

And all of this is on top of the harm done to the true victims of the abortion pill: the hundreds of thousands of preborn babies whose lives are being tragically and brutally ended by these deadly drugs every year.

While some truly believe they are helping women, the abortion industry really cares about just one thing: its own bottom line. And it will do everything it can to maximize profits while distancing itself from the terrible aftermath, even if it costs the health and lives of the very women it claims to “serve.”

But while our opponents seek to move away from in-person interaction and continue to dehumanize and devalue both women and preborn children, Live Action is doing the exact opposite.

We are leaning into the power of community to bring critically needed, life-affirming truth to people across the country with new projects like:

• The North Star Fellowship, created to help rising professionals in media, government, and faith serve as beacons of truth in their respective fields,
• Church and university campus outreach programs, which will facilitate the creation of local Live Action groups and equip existing pro-life groups with impactful tools,
• And a renewed Live Action Ambassador program, focusing on grassroots pro-life activism both in person and online.
