Dear Friend,
Thank you for being a part of AFSC’s global community and for all you do to make the world a better place. We are so encouraged by your support. And we find hope in your steadfast commitment to love, peace, and justice.
As a Quaker organization, AFSC believes in the inherent value of every human being. We believe that all people deserve to live in dignity and peace. Our staff around the world put those values into action each day with support from kind people like you.
In Gaza, that has meant doing all we can to end the genocide, provide humanitarian aid, and support displaced people. Over the past two years, our team inside Gaza has worked with partners to provide: - More than 1 million servings of hot meals, food parcels, and fresh vegetables.
-
Drinking water for more than 87,000 people.
- Baby formula, Cerelac, and milk for over 11,000 children.
- Hygiene kits for over 78,000 people, including women and girls, seniors, pregnant women, and newborns.
- Mattresses, blankets, winter clothes, and plastic sheets for tents for nearly 10,000 people.
We have also reached hundreds of women with public health awareness activities and psychological support sessions. And we’ve facilitated recreational activities for more than 19,000 children. In recent months, we have expanded our educational activities, reaching 3,200 students.
Your support makes these efforts and many more possible. Thank you for supporting people in Gaza and for joining us in working for a more just and peaceful world. In peace, |
