Indivisibles,
We are thirty days into the Trump Shutdown and the GOP is MIA. While
federal employees go without paychecks and insurance premiums are set to
skyrocket for millions of Americans, House Republicans are golfing and
attending fundraisers instead of working to reopen the government. In
fact, they’ve only worked 14 days since July 25.
Republicans think they can hide from their constituents, maximize the pain
this shutdown is inflicting on working people, and then try to pin the
blame for Trump’s shutdown on Democrats. We won’t let them.
To ratchet up pressure on House Republicans, we’re rolling out billboards
in six key districts calling House Republicans out by name for backing
Trump’s shutdown. We’re making sure constituents in these districts know
that their Republican Members of Congress are siding with Trump over
working families:

backs Trump's Shutdown, not healthcare for working families."
This is one example of the billboards we’re putting up in GOP districts --
but we need your help to fund them. [ [link removed] ]If you’re able to pitch in, please

Over the next few weeks, millions of Americans are going to receive
notices that their healthcare costs are set to explode in 2026. Many more
will log onto online insurance marketplaces only to find that they’ve been
priced out of the coverage they rely on. It’s the start of a healthcare
crisis that could cause millions to lose coverage or take on new medical
debt in 2026.
This is precisely what Democrats have been fighting to prevent. So far
they’ve held the line, but with healthcare costs set to spiral out of
control, we need to ramp up the pressure on Republicans. In addition to
our billboards, your donations will help fund all the other grassroots
tactics we’re deploying to end the Trump Shutdown, including:
☎️ Driving tens of thousands of calls and emails to Congress pressuring
Republicans to pass a bipartisan bill that ends the shutdown and protects
healthcare access for working families.
📣 Hosting rallies, protests, and town halls. Across the country,
Indivisible groups are hosting events including rallies and protests
outside of GOP district offices and town halls educating constituents
about the stakes of the healthcare fight.
📰 Publishing Op-Eds and LTEs. Indivisibles are using our LTE toolkit to
call out their Members of Congress and highlight the direct impact the
Republican healthcare cuts will have in their communities.
💪 Using relational organizing tools to mobilize our friends and neighbors.
Through our Fight Back with Friends program, Indivisibles are spreading
the word about the healthcare crisis Republicans are causing – and getting
their friends and family to join the fight.
We need to make sure Democrats stand strong and keep up the pressure on
Republicans to negotiate a budget that addresses the healthcare crisis.
But we can’t do this work without your support. [ [link removed] ]Please click here to

using to fight the Trump Shutdown.
