When the Republicans started this fight, I bet they didn’t see this coming.

FIRST: Donald Trump demanded that Texas Republicans gerrymander their congressional map to steal FIVE House seats.

BUT THEN: Democrats in California responded — and voters are turning out in DROVES to vote in favor of Proposition 50, allowing California to redraw its own districts and counter Trump’s gerrymander in Texas.

AND NOW: Democrats all across the country are stepping up to the plate as well, from Virginia to New York to Illinois — putting Trump’s House Majority at greater risk than EVER before.

When Republicans picked this fight, they probably thought they’d get away with it.

They counted on Democrats to look the other way as they drove a wrecking ball through our democracy.

But we stood up. We fought back. We showed these Republicans what it means to fight fire with fire. And we’re only just getting started.
