The Republican National Convention is still on in Jacksonville, Florida, but it may be moving outside. That's the latest news according to unnamed Republicans "involved with the planning" of the event.

To date, six Republican senators have said they won't attend the convention, with the first to announce -- Sen. Grassley (Iowa) -- saying it was due to his concerns about COVID-19.

President Trump is expected to announce the outdoor venue, if they do pursue that route, in "upcoming days." It will likely be a local football or baseball stadium.

And Democrats are readying for an all-virtual convention.

"The convention planners have announced that in addition to live broadcasts, the convention will air 'curated content' from 'satellite cities, locations and landmarks across the country.'" (The Hill)

Well, at virtual except for Joe Biden planning to fly in and out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin as he delivers his acceptance speech.

The Democratic National Convention will be "overseen" by an Emmy Award-winning producer, and the plan is for an all-virtual line-up. But to avoid a series of living room shots (or just Biden in his basement), the DNC will feature videos from different locations across the country.
