Last week, Donald Trump demolished an entire wing of the White House as part of his ridiculous plan to build a golden ballroom for himself. At the same time, his Republican allies in Congress have continued to keep our government shut — even as members of their own party have called for action to address the looming health care crisis if key subsidies expire.
MAGA Republicans are using literal and metaphorical wrecking balls to smash our government to pieces, and it’s an emergency for our democracy. We need to stand strong and retake the House next year.
We must reopen the government, protect access to affordable care, and defend our democracy against MAGA authoritarianism. We need to stop this sabotage before it gets worse.
