I’m sure my campaign isn’t the only one in your inbox asking for your support. And if yours looks anything like mine, many of those messages all sound the same. I want to take a moment to speak to you directly and share what your support truly means to me.

Every day, I meet people who remind me why I decided to run for Congress: 

Whether it’s parents who are working hard to put food on the table, seniors anxious about the price of their medications, or everyday folks who are worried about being able to afford quality health care, that’s what this work is about. These issues come up at my kitchen table, and I’m sure some of them come up at yours too. 

This work is about making sure the government actually delivers for people. 

I want you to know that your support is about being part of a community committed to making a real difference. When you give, it’s a reflection of your belief in creating meaningful change, and I carry that responsibility with me. 

I didn’t come to Congress to chase headlines or push a party agenda. I came here to deliver results for the people I was elected to represent, plain and simple.

And that’s exactly why Donald Trump and his allies want to redraw Indiana’s maps and replace me with a Trump loyalist who will do their bidding instead of standing up for our communities. Indiana Republicans are heading to a special session to redraw our congressional map and make my district more favorable for them.
